FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
Hopefully, you'll find the answer to your question here. If not, contact us and we'll give you the information you need.
Why are all your courses by e-learning
only?
For two reasons. First of all, it means we can keep prices down. A lot of
people would love to take courses but can't afford them. We like to think
we've made our courses accessible to far more people by keeping one study
for each course below £100. Secondly, if you're reading this you have,
or have access to, a computer. That means you can print off the pages you
need when you want, instead of cluttering up your home with unnecessary
paper. Most people who've tried it much prefer e-learning to more traditional
forms. If you want to know more about e-learning and our study options,

What level of tutor support do you
offer?
It depends on which study option you choose. The more cost effective option
means you don't have tutor support and your work is assessed by a final
exam. If you choose the other option, full tutor support is provided. That
means your tutor will answer any questions sent by email, mark assignment
answers and also mark your final exam paper. You choose which study option
is the right one for you.
When I've finished my course, can
I take a higher qualification?
For some subjects, yes. Fairfields College is associated with another distance
learning college which specialises in higher level qualifications. Successful
Fairfields students are entitled to a discount on these courses.
If I phone, can I speak to a real
person?
Yes. There's nothing more annoying than internet sites which only permit
you to contact them by email. We have a phone number you can use and we
promise you, there's a real person at the other end of the line. There may
be times when the answering machine is on. This means is that the staff
are talking to students, engaged in admin tasks or out of the office. Leave
a message and someone will phone you back. If you want to speak to
us, we want to speak to you.
Why does the PayPal link lead to The College of Integrated Therapies?
The College of Integrated Therapies is our sister college. We are in the
process of transferring the payment arrangements but for now, all purchases
are being processed through the College of Integrated Therapies Paypal account.
Don't worry, you will be working with Fairfields and receiving a Fairfield's
certificate or diploma if you pass your course.
